MIDDLE EASTERN KABOBS

Delicious Middle Eastern Kabobs: A Flavorful Journey to the Heart of the Mediterranean

Ingredients:

  • ½ medium yellow onion
  • 4 large cloves garlic
  • Fresh parsley
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • Salt & pepper 
  • 1 tbsp. thyme
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1½ tbsp Sumac
  • ½ tbsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ cup bone broth

Preparation:

  1. In a food processor, pulse together the yellow onion cloves garlic, and a large handful of fresh parsley. Pulse well.
  1. Add ground beef to a large bowl. Top it with the marinate. Then add three pinches salt, thyme, turmeric, cumin, sumac, paprika and pepper.
  1. Add baking soda and bone broth. Mix it well, cover and let it rest at least 30 mins.
  1. After at least 30 min make the logs: Wet your hands to make it easier and roll the meat them into log or patties. Pan fry them on medium heat till they develop a nice crust on all sides. 
  1. Prepare simple pickled red onions:  slicing 1 large red onion, add it to a bowl, top with the juice of 1 large lemon, a couple pinches salt, and 2 tbsp sumac. Mix well, then let onions sit for 30 mins 
  1. You can plate them with Ranch Dressing
