GRILLED CHEESEBURGERS

It’s not summer without a juicy, tasty, homemade burger. Here are two ways make them yourself end enjoy.

Ingredients:

Traditional Bacon Cheeseburgers
  • 4 lean ground beef patties
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 Slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked

Onion and bacon Jam Cheese Burgers
  • 4 lean ground beef patties
  • 1 sliced white onion
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 Slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped.

Directions:

Traditional Bacon Cheeseburgers
  1. Broil or grill over medium heat for 4 to 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature should be 160degrees F) 
  2. Toast buns on the grill, open side down, about 30 seconds. 
  3. Place one or two slices of Cheddar cheese on cooked beef patties for 15 seconds. Add the bacon slices to each burger.
  4. Serve burgers on toasted buns with desired toppings and condiments. 
Onion and bacon Jam Cheese Burgers
  1. In a saucepan at medium heat add sliced onion with butter. Once done and onions are translucent, add chopped bacon. Mix them well and once done reserve. 
  2. Broil or grill patties over medium heat for 4 to 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature should be 160 degrees F) 
  3.  Toast buns on the grill, open side down about 30 seconds. 
  4. Place one slice of Cheddar cheese on beef patties for 15 seconds.
  5.  Serve burgers on toasted buns with onion and bacon jam and desired toppings and condiments.
