BEEF FAJITAS

Perfectly Sizzling Beef Fajitas: A Flavor-Packed Recipe for Any Occasion

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb flank steak (sliced and cut into 1 inch strips)
  • 1 medium red bell pepper (cut into strips)
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper (cut into strips)
  • 1 medium green bell pepper (cut into strips)
  • 1 large onion (sliced)
  • 1 ½ cup beer (corona or modelo)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 lime (juice)
  • olive oil (as needed)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Preparation:

1. Place the beef in a mixing bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin and season with salt and pepper.
2. Pour the beer and mix thoroughly until the beef is nicely coated with the marinade.
3. Allow the beef to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
4. Heat a griddle or a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of oil and grill the peppers and onions with a pinch of salt and pepper until they start to soften on the inside and crunchy on the outside.
5. Cook the meat on your grill for 4-5 min per side
6. Cut the meat into stripes and mix with veggies
7. Serve the fajitas de res hot along with your favorite sides.
