Deck the Halls with a Vibrant Christmas Fruit Salad
Ingredients:
- 2 red apples
- 2 green apples
- 1/2 lb strawberries
- 1/2 lb green grapes
- 10 oz red grapes
- 1 can peaches
- 1 can fruit cocktail
- 1 can media crema (table cream)
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 12 oz heavy syrup from the canned fruits
- 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup of sour cream
- 4 oz cream cheese at room temperature
- Shredded coconut
- Chopped pecans
Preparation:
- Cut the fruit into small pieces and place all the fruit into a large bowl.
- In a blender, combine the evaporated milk, condensed milk, syrup, vanilla extract, sour cream, and cream cheese. Blend until fully smooth.
- Pour the blended mixture over the fruit in the bowl.
- Stir in the grated coconut and pecans.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
