Quick and Delicious Jocoque Appetizer
Ingredients:
For the Stir-Fried Chiles (Chiles Toreados)
- 8 green onions, cut in half
- 2 jalapeño peppers, sliced
- 2 serrano peppers, sliced
- 20 ml dark sauces (like Worcestershire and Maggi)
- 20 ml soy sauce
- Juice of 2 lemons
Preparation:
- Sauté the vegetables: In a skillet with hot oil, fry the peppers and onions until golden brown.
- Add sauces: Add the dark sauces and mix well.
- Add lemon juice: After 2 minutes, add the lemon juice and reduce heat to low.
- Assemble the dish: Place the Parmalat Jocoque on a board or in a bowl. Top with the stir-fried chili and onion mixture.Serve with crackers or toasted pita bread.
- Serve with a cold Squirt (a Mexican carbonated soft drink).
