
Shrimp Aguachile That Packs a Spicy Punch!
Ingredients:
For the aguachiles:
- 1.5 lbs. shrimp
- Juice of 15 limes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 cucumber
- 1 avocado
- Salsa Culichi® (Salsa Negra)
- Tostadas
For the Salsa:
- 1/2 cucumber (peeled)
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- 2 serrano peppers
- 1/4 red onion
- 1 Bunch of cilantro
- 1 tsp jugo maggi
Preparation:
1. Clean and devein the shrimp.
2. Butterfly cut the shrimp and add the juice of 15 limes.
3. Season with salt & pepper
4. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 30 min
5. After 30 min, remove half a cup of the lime juice for the salsa
6. Add sliced red onion to the shrimp, mix well and set aside
7. For the salsa use the reserved lime juice, cucumber, jalapeño, serrano, red onion, maggi seasoning sauce, and cilantro and blend all together.
8. Add sliced cucumber to the shrimp and the salsa.
9. Mix it and it’s ready to enjoy.
10. Serve over a tostada, avocado and a dash of Salsa Culichi®
