RICE PUDDING

Easy Homemade Rice Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 4 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup rice, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes and drained
  • 1 can (14 ounces) NESTLÉ LA LECHERA Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 can (12 fluid ounces) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 mint leaves, cleaned

Preparation:

  1. Heat the water with the cinnamon stick, and once it starts boiling, add the rice. Cook for 20 minutes over high heat or until the rice is tender.
  2. Pour in the NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk and NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk; mix and continue cooking over low heat for 20 to 25 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  3. Serve warm or cold, garnish with the raisins, ground cinnamon, and mint leaves.
