JOCOQUE APPETIZER

Quick and Delicious Jocoque Appetizer

Ingredients:

 

For the Stir-Fried Chiles (Chiles Toreados) 
  • 8 green onions, cut in half
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, sliced
  • 2 serrano peppers, sliced
  • 20 ml dark sauces (like Worcestershire and Maggi)
  • 20 ml soy sauce
  • Juice of 2 lemons

Preparation:

  1. Sauté the vegetables: In a skillet with hot oil, fry the peppers and onions until golden brown.
  2. Add sauces: Add the dark sauces and mix well.
  3. Add lemon juice: After 2 minutes, add the lemon juice and reduce heat to low.
  4. Assemble the dish: Place the Parmalat Jocoque on a board or in a bowl. Top with the stir-fried chili and onion mixture.Serve with crackers or toasted pita bread.
  5. Serve with a cold Squirt (a Mexican carbonated soft drink).
