
Garlic Fire Dance: Shrimp That Sings with Spice
Ingredients:
- 2.2 lbs (1 kg) peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1 head of garlic, finely chopped
- 5 guajillo chiles
- 3 whole árbol chiles
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Maggi seasoning
- Salt, pepper, and paprika to taste
- 1/2 cup (90g) butter
- 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley
Preparation:
- Mince the garlic very finely and cut the guajillo chiles into thin strips with scissors.
- In a hot skillet, add the oil and butter.
- Add the árbol chiles, garlic, and guajillo chiles.
- Season the shrimp with mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and Maggi seasoning.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add to the skillet and flip after 3 minutes.
- Finish cooking, squeeze in the lemon juice, and garnish with fresh parsley.
