Corporate social responsibility is part of El Super’s principals and part of its commitment to its communities of interest, this commitment continues as El Super conducts business in a lawful and ethical manner, this includes compliance with all laws involving slavery and human trafficking.
El Super Markets expects its vendors also conduct themselves in a lawful, respective and ethical manner as they play in important role in the prevention and deterrence of any acts of slavery and human trafficking. El Super Markets does not currently verify or audit directly, or through third parties, its vendor or vendor subcontractor facilities used to manufacture, process, or distribute merchandise.
If El Super Markets is aware of any violation of the foregoing standards and/or applicable laws, El Super Markets will take appropriate measures to ensure future compliance, including obtaining written certifications of such compliance.
